Participant Type

For the Main conference, LREC 2020 considers 7 different types of participants corresponding to 3 main Participant Categories with registration fees that vary depending on the registration period.

Please note that:

  1. When participants register in the ELRA Non Members  (including 2-year membership) category, their membership fees (50€ for students and 100€ for Indiviual Member) is automatically added on top of their registration.
  2. the participants who have joined ELRA by choosing ELRA Non Members  (including 2-year membership) when registering to the Main conference benefit from the ELRA Member fees for their registration to any workshop or tutorial.
  3. it is possible to register to workshops/tutorials only and join ELRA by choosing a participant type within the category  ELRA Non Members  (including 2-year membership).
ELRA Members

Participants registering as ELRA Institutional Members must check that their institution is currently member of ELRA and that membership fees for 2020 have been settled at the time of registration. When registering they can select their institution in the Affiliation field.

Student Rate

Proof of academic standing will be required for registering as a student. During the registration process, students must upload a proof of their status signed by the Head of the department or a valid student ID (PDF or gif, jpg, png file).

 

Registration Fees

Main conference

The Conference registration fee for all participant types includes access to all Main conference sessions, coffee-breaks in the morning and in the afternoon, an entry for the Welcome Reception and 1 ticket for the Gala Dinner.

 
Workshops and tutorials only

The Workshop/Tutorial registration fee for all participant types includes access to the selected Workshop(s) and/or Tutorial(s) sessions, the corresponding coffee-break(s) and an entry to the Welcome Reception.

 
Main conference & Workshops and Tutorials

The Conference and Workshops/Tutorials registration fee for ELRA Members, Students and Standard Participants includes access to all Main conference sessions, to the selected Workshop(s) and/or Tutorial(s) sessions, the corresponding coffee-breaks, 1 entry for the Welcome Reception and 1 ticket for the Gala Dinner.

 

Registration Conditions

For the Main conference, three registration periods are defined with different registration fees:

  • Early-bird: Up to April 3rd
  • Normal: From April 4th up to April 28th
  • Late & On-site: From April 29th to May 16th.

Registration will be considered as final once the payment of the registration fees has been processed and accepted by our bank.

 

Payment

All payments must be made in EURO. Upon receipt of your payment, your registration will be confirmed by email, and a receipt will be sent to you.

1. Credit Card Payment (preferred)

The payment of registration fees to LREC 2020 (Main conference and/or Workshops and Tutorials) should be made using a credit card (CB, Visa, Mastercard). The Online Registration system guarantees secure credit card transactions.

2. Bank Transfer

All bank charges and foreign exchange commissions are to be paid by the participant.

3. Purchase Order

This payment method is reserved to institutions.

Institutions can issue a purchase order (PO) with the items ordered by one or several participants to LREC20. In this case, the purchase order needs to be sent to the Conference Secretariat by email at registration@elda.org .

 

Accommodations

A number of rooms at a discounted price have been booked in Marseille. The rooms are available on a first come-first served basis. All questions or requests related to the accommodation should be sent directly to the hotels.

Letter of Invitation and Visa Letter

The Letter of invitation and the Visa Letter will be downloadable for all the registered/paid participants. Letters to support the visa request cannot be provided to participants who have not completed/paid their registration.

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation must be notified to lrec@elda.org. All refunds will be made after the conference. Refunds will be made to the same bank account or credit card as the original payment. Please refer to the following dates for cancellation:
 

  • Cancellation by March 31st: Full refund less bank or credit card expenses and a 75€ processing fee
  • Cancellation after March 31st: No refund

  • Cancellation means that the final paper could be withdrawn from LREC 2020 Proceedings if no author has finally registered to the Main Conference.

    Please remember that cancelling your registration does not automatically cancel your hotel and travel booking. Each participant is responsible for cancelling their own hotel and travel reservations.

  • 31 October 2019: Submission of proposals for panels, workshops and tutorials
  • 2 December 2019: Submission of proposals for oral and poster papers
  • 13 February 2020: Notification of acceptance for oral and poster/demo papers
  • 13 March 2020: Final Submission of accepted oral and poster/demo papers
  • 13-14-15 May 2020: Main Conference
  • 11-12-16 May 2020: Workshops & Tutorials
