Reduced-fee registration to LREC 2020 until April 23, 2020

Here is the new reduced registration policy. Proceedings will appear early May as planned.

At this stage, only authors of papers accepted to the Main conference can register, at reduced fees.

The reduced fee covers the organisation costs so far including publication costs. The policy of one author registered per paper still applies.

New LREC 2020 Fees & Membership fees

LREC Registration fees

  • Regular Authors: 160€
  • Student Authors: 90€

ELRA 2-year Membership Fees (optional)

  • Regular Authors: 100€
  • Student Authors: 50€

Failure to register will result in the cancellation of the paper’s publication in LREC 2020 Proceedings.

Registration to workshops and tutorials is temporarily suspended until the new dates are announced. We have asked workshop organisers to publish their Proceedings.

Student Rate

Proof of academic standing will be required for registering as a student. During the registration process, students must upload a proof of their status signed by the Head of the department or a valid student ID (PDF or gif, jpg, png file).


Registration Conditions

For the Main conference, three registration periods are defined with different registration fees:

  • Early-bird: Up to April 23rd
  • Normal: From April 4th up to April 28th
  • Late & On-site: From April 29th to May 16th

Registration will be considered as final once the payment of the registration fees has been processed and accepted by our bank.



All payments must be made in EURO. Upon receipt of your payment, your registration will be confirmed by email, and a receipt will be sent to you.

1. Credit Card Payment (preferred)

The payment of registration fees to LREC 2020 (Main conference and/or Workshops and Tutorials) should be made using a credit card (CB, Visa, Mastercard). The Online Registration system guarantees secure credit card transactions.

All bank charges and foreign exchange commissions are to be paid by the participant.

3. Purchase Order

This payment method is reserved to institutions.

Institutions can issue a purchase order (PO) with the items ordered by one or several participants to LREC20. In this case, the purchase order needs to be sent to the Conference Secretariat by email at .


Letter of Invitation and Visa Letter

The Letter of invitation and the Visa Letter will be downloadable for all the registered/paid participants. Letters to support the visa request cannot be provided to participants who have not completed/paid their registration.


Cancellation Policy

Due to the cancellation of LREC and while we are looking for new dates to postpone the event, the new refund policy applies.


  • Please remember that cancelling your registration does not automatically cancel your hotel and travel booking. Each participant is responsible for cancelling their own hotel and travel reservations.

  • 2 December 2019: Submission of proposals for oral and poster papers
  • 13 February 2020: Notification of acceptance for oral and poster/demo papers
  • 13 March 2020: Final Submission of accepted oral and poster/demo papers
  • 13-14-15 May 2020: Main Conference
  • 11-12-16 May 2020: Workshops & Tutorials
